bad graphics: you need an item for the graphics to be decent at all and sometimes your field of vision becomes totally covered in static when you stand up
boring soundtrack: you can find good music but you have to find and play it yourself. by default there isnt any
lots of rules and for the most part they make it quite difficult to enjoy the game
in spite of all these rules, it is unclear what exactly you are supposed to do to progress
player character lacks interesting abilities
many difficult tasks
no working cheat codes
having to keep your needs up to avoid dying takes an inordinate amount of time and effort
no extra lives

PvP is enabled but heavily discouraged, bannable offense in some cases
Story progression moves at a snail’s pace
Very lighthearted at the outset but starts to take a very dark turn once you start getting close to Level 18
There’s a glitch that permanently disables sounds and chat for some people when they start the game, some people experience it later on. Devs have yet to create a stable patch despite being in version 2.017
No fast travel
Mounts are ridiculously expensive and you have to pay to recharge them after traveling a certain distance
No loot drops, you have to buy all your gear
Only way to get currency is through hours upon hours of boring grinding

there’s a huge problem in gaming today where people are focusing more on graphics than aethestic, which is really shitty because it leads to all of these awful derivative modern military shooters and games that have no identity. like i don’t really care if you’re able to render the 374th bead of sweat on a grizzled marine’s face, if you don’t have a unique style nobody will remember your game
